Tap dance classes in Wokingham

Tap is an essential part of any dancer's training, building rhythm, control and musicality. Our classes focus on both technique and performance, across a variety of tap styles.

Tap classes that keep children moving

We run tap classes that give children the chance to build rhythm, coordination and stage confidence in a fun setting. Our lessons are designed for beginners, intermediates and advanced dancers alike, so your child can learn at a pace that feels right for them. Tap is brilliant for developing timing and musical awareness, and it also helps children grow in confidence as they master new steps. You might have a child who loves to perform or one who simply needs a lively class where they can come out of their shell. Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow has been helping children enjoy musical theatre since 2008. In Wokingham, we keep every session encouraging and rewarding so your child can enjoy learning without feeling overwhelmed.

A lively way to build skills and self-belief

Our tap sessions focus on more than footwork, because steady progress often starts with feeling comfortable in the room. Alongside tap, students can also expand their dance foundation through our dedicated ballet classes, street dance classes and troupe classes. We create a friendly atmosphere where children can learn technique, listen closely to music and gain confidence through regular practice. That matters when your child is trying something new, especially if they need a class that feels welcoming rather than intimidating. Some children join us because they already love dance, while others come along to make friends and try a fresh activity after school. Families across Wokingham, Woodley and nearby Reading also choose Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow because we make musical theatre feel enjoyable from the very first class.
