A stage school that feels welcoming from day one

Finding a class that feels encouraging, organised and genuinely enjoyable can make all the difference for your child. Since 2008, Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow has helped children and young people grow in confidence, supported by a qualified and DBS-checked team that understands how important those first experiences can be.

Our team’s approach is centred on creating a supportive environment where every child feels comfortable being themselves. Whether they are shy beginners or already confident performers, our teachers give students the space to develop at their own pace, make friends and feel proud of their progress.

Nicola Brading

My daughter has been at Steppin Out for 4 years now and she loves it. The staff and principal are great at encouraging the kids . Most importantly for me, as a parent, the children's welfare and safety is put above anything else. The owner and principal works extremely hard to give the children amazing opportunities like; performing in professional theatres, arranging trips to support fellow students in professional roles, and even performances in Disneyland Paris! What more could you want for your budding star?

My daughter has been coming to classes at Steppin Out for over 8 years and loves it! From weekly classes (in dance, drama and singing), to performing as part of the Senior Troupe at events, she's also loved the bi-annual big shows she's been part of (Wicked / the Wizard of Oz being her favourite!) Her biggest highlights have been performing in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and in the parade at Disneyland Paris most recently - memories that will last a lifetime. But aside from the 'big' moments, she loves seeing her friends and enjoying the weekly classes - growing in confidence and ability - it's a highlight of her week!

More than just weekly classes

Your child might love performing but still need the right place to settle, build trust and find their voice. Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow offers a welcoming environment where children can develop skills, confidence and friendships alongside their performance training. Our classes are designed to be lively, supportive and purposeful, bringing together musical theatre for 3.5–5 years, 6–8 years, 9–11 years and 12–17 years, alongside tap, ballet, street dance, troupe and private singing support. This gives your child a clear path to explore their interests and continue developing as their skills grow.

With opportunities to perform, work with others and take on new challenges, students can build self-belief while creating friendships and memorable experiences. For those looking to develop their skills further, our Future Dance Teachers Programme provides an opportunity to explore a pathway into teaching.

A supportive environment for every child

Our ethos is built around five core values: kindness, professionalism, fun, enthusiasm and inspiration. These values shape the way we teach and help create an environment where every child is valued as an individual. We believe stage school should be about more than performance. It should be a place where children can build confidence, discover their strengths, develop life skills and create magical memories along the way.

A clear path as your child develops

As students grow, their interests and ambitions can change. Our range of training and development opportunities allows them to continue progressing while exploring different aspects of performing arts. For students looking to take their training further, specialist pathways and additional opportunities provide ways to develop their skills and explore where their interests could lead.
